Anne began her yoga journey as a student in December 2013, at the close of a year marked by profound loss. What she discovered on the mat was more than movement; it was a practice that gently guided her back to herself. When opportunities to deepen her understanding of yoga appeared, she eagerly embraced them, not because she intended to teach, but because she was a hungry student, captivated by the wisdom and healing she found in the practice. After earning her RYT-200 certification in 2014, Anne began sharing yoga with others. What started as personal exploration became a calling she could not ignore. Having experienced a practice so healing, so joy-giving, and so nourishing for both body and spirit, she felt compelled to share it. Over the years, Anne's practice has evolved, shaped by both yoga and life itself. She has learned the value of vigor and stillness, movement and rest, effort and surrender. Her teaching invites students to listen deeply: to their bodies, to the rhythms of nature, and to the quiet wisdom within themselves. Since beginning her teaching journey, Anne has taught in gyms and studios, owned two yoga studios, and even built one from the ground up. She has led classes inside four walls and beneath open skies, her favorite classroom of all. Whether teaching in a dedicated yoga space, a community center, a farm, or atop a mountain, her focus has remained the same: to serve the souls who show up. Grounded in connection, intentionality, gentleness, and love, Anne's classes are infused with what she holds most dear - presence, community, and bliss. She believes yoga is not about becoming someone new, but about remembering who you have always been. Her greatest joy is creating space for others to come home to themselves, just as yoga once helped her come home to herself.
