About me
Yoga Educator | Author | Health and Wellness Coach
Sarah Thomas is a lifelong yogi whose journey began before she was born, inspired by her mother’s prenatal yoga practice. Guided early on by her first mentors, she developed a deep commitment to mindfulness and movement that has shaped her life and work. After training at Sage Yoga and transitioning from devoted student to skilled teacher, Sarah expanded her reach with specialized instruction at respected institutions, including St. Jude, Johnson & Johnson, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), Zen Studios, and Sixth House Wellness Studio.
Redefining Resilience
In 2010, Sarah’s life took a pivotal turn when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). A natural athlete and mover, she initially experienced the diagnosis as a profound setback. Over time, however, it became the catalyst for a larger mission of service and advocacy. She founded 365 Yoga Dream, a platform dedicated to inclusive, adaptable yoga for every body, and MS Dreams, an initiative that provides essential mobility equipment to people navigating the physical challenges of MS.
Author and Wellness Expert
Sarah is the author of *Chair Yoga for Multiple Sclerosis and Chronic Pain*, a book that advances her mission to make wellness accessible to everyone, regardless of physical limitations. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practice and supported by her Health and Wellness Lifestyle Coach certification from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. In this role, she helps patients managing pre-diabetes, diabetes, and cardiovascular health create sustainable, long-term lifestyle changes.
Philosophy and Community Impact
As a lululemon legacy ambassador, Sarah is recognized as a pillar of the wellness community. She champions a holistic approach to health that integrates physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. Living with MS has taught her the art of the “pivot”: listening deeply to her body, adapting with compassion, and celebrating every victory, from completing a full vinyasa to simply finding a moment of peace on a challenging day.
Through her teaching, writing, and advocacy, Sarah continues to inspire others to embrace resilience, honor their unique paths, and remember that yoga is more than just a practice it’s a way of life.
